When I joined Piggz I wondered if I would ever win a race. Winning a championship seemed unthinkable. Now I've won 4 championships in a row. Whoda thunk it? As I have done on each occasion I want to send thanks out.
First to my teammates. Their help preparing for races and support in races is always the greatest. Thank you my friends.
Second to Richard for the stellar way he manages the series. He always strives to be consistent and fair in his decisions and actions and he does it while trying to race and be competitive himself. You're a good man. Thanks Richard.
A shout out to my friend Rod Merritts who finished second in the points this season. I'd much rather have him as a teammate than part of the competition. He uses his head as much as he uses his foot and always puts himself in place for the win and top finishes. He's a first class guy and among the very best drivers I run against.
Thanks also go out to all of the drivers that come out and support the series each week. You make the Piggz SS Series one to be envied by other leagues.
I look forward to the next season and racing against all of you again. |
