Hey, guys. I have made a very difficult decision that a lot of you are going to be surprised about. I have decided to quit NR2003. I have not been having fun racing this game recently, and it is not where my sim racing interest is anymore. I will be 100% honest, but iRacing has taken all of my sim racing interest. For me, it's affordable, and I have an absolute blast when I run it. It actually bugs me to know I have a league race in NR2003 when all I want to do iRace. This decision is not being made because of the people here. I am truly not having fun with this game anymore, and I feel like I am at the top of my game, and there's nothing to improve on. My plan is to finish out the current IROC season, and then I will be on my way. I wanna thank everybody for giving me a great place to race at, and giving me great people to race with. I am debating wether or not I want to sell my game or not, but if I do not, I will try to pop in for some racing every now and again. I am friends with a lot of you on FaceBook, but if I'm not, you can find me under Kyle Young. My email is sprintcupfan24 [at] aim [dot] com if you would like to communicate that way. If anyone is interested in trying iRacing, please contact me. I have some great offers for new members. Thanks again. It has been a great time.

Quoting YOU:
" I will be 100% honest, but iRacing has taken all of my sim racing interest. For me, it's affordable, and I have an absolute blast when I run it. "
OK... for YOU it's affordable? You are 16 years old and can afford Iracing?
No my little racing warrior, it is affordable to your parent/parents.
In 2 1/2 of your successful racing here at Piggz Racing, your parent/parents nor YOU, have ever contributed anything on your behalf to keep Piggz Racing alive.
Your FAREWELL ADDRESS is pitiful. Have fun at Iracing.

Squid, don't be a dick. I have been using iRacing for over a year now, has it cut down on my nr2k3 time? yup. will it replace nr2k3 for me eventually? yup
The ONLY reason I stick around is because I like racing with a lot of the people here...but as far as nr2k3 goes, ive been there, done that seen it all.
dont be BITTER about people leaving and moving onto something else, just because you aren't.
Kyle you have done great at piggz and are getting much better at iracing, I look forward to seeing you develop further.

Brandon,
I do NOT resent people from going where they want to go with respect to SIM Racing.
I resent the FREELOADERS that have been Racing here at Piggz for years and have never contributed 10 cents when they can well afford to do so. Then they go elsewhere and spend good money and tout about how good it is elsewhere.
HE claims he can afford Iracing. He could have helped to keep this Piggz Racing League going.
You just don't get it.... Do You?
People that are fed with a GOLDEN spoon, dont give a Flying F--- about anyone or anything else.
The people than can donate and do not are very inconsiderate.
Piggz Racing is dying a SLOW DEATH because of FREELOADERS... amongst other things.
It takes MONEY to keep Piggz Racing alive. Too many of us few donaters are keeping Piggz alive. That is pathetic!!!!!!!!!!
We are not made of money. I do NOT support FREELOADERS!!!!!!!!!!
Reality CHECK Sir Brandon............
That is where I draw my line.
The END of Piggz Racing will eventually happen. How soon that happens will depend on donations. The writing is on the wall.
The next Server payment is covered. The funds after that will be near ZERO for the next payment after that.
Never in the history of Piggz Racing has the SERVER Fund been in so much danger of survival.

It is affordable for ME, SQUID. I have payed for everything on my iRacing account but $24. Each of my parents have given me $12 for subscriptions. Don't come after me like I'm some bad guy. It is not required to put money into this game. I have put a total of $15 into NR2003, and those were 3 $5 entry fees for the OpenSpeedway 500. It is not required to put money into this league. Other than those 3 races, I have NEVER put any money into NR2003. I have never thought about putting money into this because I have never had to. I don't know what your problem is, but I do not appreciate your attitude towards me. Unless you truly know what goes on, don't open your mouth. Yes, the things I buy are on my Mom's credit card, but I give her the money to replace what was taken out of her credit card for my purchases. After reading this, I am very glad that I will not need to deal with you again. This is disgraceful, and I hope you're proud of yourself. Have fun with a game that will go no where.

piggz racing doesnt need MONEY to improve it needs RACERS not WHINERS that wont run anything but TALLaDAGA TR

Again, the point has been missed.
Yes, Piggz Racing is FREE and asks for a donation when feasible. When someone has raced here for 2 1/2 years and has never donated anything and can afford to spend $12 every month for Iracing, that confuses me.
When someone thinks they have reached the top of their game and there's nothing to improve on, that confuses me.
" Have fun with a game that will go no where. " Yes I will.
And.... if a time comes that you can no longer afford Iracing, just remember that you can always come back to Piggz to race for FREE , if it's still around.
FYI:
Several other Piggz drivers ( including myself ) have had the Racing door slammed shut in our faces in another league awhile back for similar issues.

Like I said, other than the 3 entry fees for the OpenSpeedway 500, I have never been forced to pay to play NR2003. Since I have not, I have never thought about putting money into it. It has never been an issue, so I have never thought of it as one.
"When someone thinks they have reached the top of their game and there's nothing to improve on, that confuses me."
There really isn't anyway to say this without coming across as a jerk, but I will say it with every intent not to. Look at my IROC Series stats, SQUID. I have won 5 races out of the 12 run so far in the season, have a 243 point lead with 4 races to go, have 53 top 10s in 54 starts in that Series, and am on-track for my 3rd straight title in that Series. What more do I have to improve on over here? Either I've learned enough and am driving well enough to be at the top of my game, or everyone hasn't met me at that stage yet. I hate to say it like that, but there really isn't any other way to do so. I can stay here and win 16 straight IROC titles, or I can leave, give other people a chance, and try to crack down on a sim that could have a serious beneficial result.
I don't know what your deal is, but it's rediculous. I have showed you a ton of respect, I have kept your requests to not give out setups you have given me when I was struggling, and I have made sure to thank you for your generosity in doing so. If you're going to get butt-hurt over this, than fine. So be it. I find it quite rediculous that your accusing me of using my parents' money for something I have payed 94% of myself. If Piggz had made it required to pay for, then I would've done it a long time ago. I have no problem in donating to this league. I have never thought to do it because it was never required to, so I never thought to do it. I know the forum has posts on it, and it's on the website, but I don't visit the site everyday, and I race here 1-2 time a week. If that's how you're going to be, then so be it.
And a little FYI for ya, I've been here just over two years. I joined the website about 5 months before I started racing here, and that was only to download content.

If every person still racing in this Piggz Racing League thought the way you do, Piggz Racing would have been dead years ago.
Donations/Contributions to any cause are from the heart. That is why they are called that. They are obviously not a requirement. Donations/Contributions to Piggz Racing is a special way to express a Thank You for all that has been done for anyone that races here.
Piggz Racing has served you well in the past 2 years.
Career Stats: ( according to you )
85 Poles (5 @ Piggz Racing)
98 Wins (16 @ Piggz Racing)
9 Championships (3 @ Piggz Racing, 1 As A Car Owner)
929 Starts (As Of 5/22/12)
On the other hand, Iracing does not run on contributions. You pay $12 up front every month for bare minimum services. Al-A-Carte. You aren't getting a Happy Meal. You gotta pay for the fries and drink if you want those. Soon you will want more and more. A clever plan by Iracing to bleed people of money. A brilliant scheme.
Naturally... no one has to feed them any more money than what they intend to spend.
However, no one races at all at Iracing without money upfront.
That is the difference between Piggz Racing and Iracing.
As for your Win credentials here at Piggz that lead you to believe you have nothing more to learn, that is hilarious and quite cocky. You have based your racing prowess on 1 or perhaps 2 series in Piggz Racing. No arguement from me... you have done better than most, but not enough to blatently state that you have nothing left to learn from Piggz Racing.
Piggz Racing has/had 8 series a week. When you win a Championship in each Series, then you have nothing left to learn.
I hold no grudges with you Kyle. I do have a personal opinion/gripe with drivers who never donate and can.... and cocky drivers. Your cockyness will subside at Iracing.
Good Luck
P.S.to DODGE:
What did you mean by this?
"piggz racing doesnt need MONEY to improve it needs RACERS not WHINERS that wont run anything but TALLaDAGA TR" Please CLARIFY.

I have run in every Series but the Monday and Tuesday night Series, winning in all of them but the Saturday and Sunday night leagues, and have a championship in Bacon Club. I'm not just talking about Piggz. I'm talking every where. In 85% of the races I do, I dominate. 98 wins for 929 starts. That's more than 1 win every 10 races. It isn't too fun when you win races and don't have a big threat of competition in the process. That's why I wanna go full-time iRacing. I'm God awful at iRacing. If I focus on that, I can learn about the car, learn about the setup, and learn how to drive it. Yeah, I can do that here, but for what reason? I use mediocre setups in open setup Series and still manage to bring home a top 5 almost every time. None of what I'm saying to me is cocky. It's quite honestly the truth. In another Series I run in, I haven't won there in my near two years of being in that Series. It's a Superspeedway league, so it's a little different. Wether you like what is/has happened/happening, it is not gonna change. You only gotta deal with seeing my face for four more weeks, and I'm gone. iRacing is where it's at. Plan and simple. 2700 racers online at this very moment around the world. Doubt you even got 300 in NR2003. You'll have to go to it eventually if you wanna continue sim racing. This game will die. I'm just getting a head start.

Squid you need to change your picture to a pitbull instead of the cat.
I think some of the lack of interest is caused by some of the goofy tracks that are run. Also making donating easier would help. In my case I do not use pay pal and would never put a credit card payment donation. I once mailed a check to help but never saw I was credited for a donation. Don't even know if the money went towards racing??????
Kyle nobody cares where you race. You do not have to put a huge goodbye letter in the forums. Top of your game? Race in the Pro Cup that is where the competition is.

I am so very sorry that I decided to let everyone know that I was leaving. I don't just leave leagues. That's rude. Pro Cup is nothing but a bunch of grouchy old men who argue week in and week out, and don't even like each other. I was thinking of leaving that Series before I made this decision just because of all of the stupid arguing. It's pointless. I hate to break it to ya, Gary, but your opinion is not the world's opinion. Just because YOU don't care when I race and when I don't, doesn't mean everyone else feels the same.

Thanks for the input Gary.
I am very troubled about your donation that went nowhere. Thank You for your kind and generous effort.
Please let me know how much you donated, and I will personally match that exact amount in your name so that it shows coming from you.
If you wish to donate in the future, send the donation to me by whatever method is comfortable for you... and I guarantee you I will make sure that it shows up in Piggz and that you are named as the donater.
