I was racing in a league (way back when) with Tom Atherton...aka MrPig, using Nascar Racing 4 and we used to get tired of getting wrecked all

the time. We started talking and said...let's start our own league. He was MrPig and I was Gonz so I took our names, and since our wives

said all men are pigs, I took Pig from him and the GZ from Gonz and came up with Piggz Racing. The rest is obviously history.


I have a lot of people to thank over these last 10 years, obviously Tom being the 1st one who stuck with me and made me GETTER DUN!!!

BUT, There are a few who stand out with exception....they are the ones, who without their help, I may not have had this success and

maybe, just maybe, Piggz Racing would not be here today if it weren't for them. I find it hard to believe that after 10 years, I still

have my original member ED Sutcliff....and I thought I was the only stupid one!!! He hardly races any more but he still shows up now and

then.



When we 1st started out we were racing IP on my computer...dealing with warp and all those fun issues back then. About a dozen guys

racing Friday and Saturday night. The Friday night series was called Piggz Night Out....do you remember ED??? Back then, I didn't have

the money for a dot com or web space, so I had 7 e-mail accounts with 70 mb of space on each one. I linked each of them together to make

1 website....man it was tricky. Once we started getting bigger, Nascar Racing 2002 came out, and Piggz Racing was off to the races.

This is when I hooked up with Fly-n-Limey (Paul Gac) and another man who I think was named Clay. If it weren't for these 2 guys, I don't

believe Piggz Racing EVER would have taken off like it did. They gave us a free server to race on for about 18 months, which basically

allowed me to get the ball rolling. That server took away all of the connection issues, warp and any other conflicts drivers had. It made

Gonz's life alot easier. Fly and Clay....you were a major part in the success of Piggz Racing.


Now, I cannot go farther without mentioning my old friend Buck...DaPainter....Richard Head....DICKHEAD!!! He truly was the Master

Painter. I have never met anyone who can design/paint/do the artwork like he does...the man was so creative. He would work his magic with

paint shop pro and all those other programs he used. I am not a graphics guy....Buck would do everything for me...no questions asked. I

cannot thank him enough for all those years he put up with my BS. He gradually faded off the internet completely. I really wish he would

contact me.


After Fly, we moved on and did a brief stint with Dave Smith and company. Dave taught me quite a few things in that year....he is a very

smart guy when it comes to the technical side of things. Although that was one year I'd kinda like to forget (I won't go into details),

working with Dave was definitely fun. I am grateful I had a chance to learn what I did from him.


Piggz Racing really established itself after this. I decided that we needed to get ourselves a solid server and went searching. I found

Extreme Servers and we had ourselves a new home. Eventually I even moved the dot com over to them as well, hosting the website, and

renting the server for about 4 years. The service with Extreme was great and reliable. Piggz Racing kept growing and growing, member by

member. I was at the computer every night plugging away with stats and car files, and by this time, we were running every night of the

week. This is when Caleb became a major part of Piggz. He showed me some new software/coding that we could use for the website after of

course he taught himself how to use it. This has made my life here at Piggz so much easier....I cannot thank him enough. Then, we decided

to form a team together, which of course was another great success. Caleb and I together accomplished so much with our ideas for the

website....and yes I cannot forget all the help Richard Hildebrandt gives me day in and day out. Without you Richard, I don't think I

could keep Piggz running 7 days a week....PERIOD!!!


Finally there is 1 more person that has contributed Hugely to the success of Piggz Racing. He has devoted so many hours, put up with so

many of my crazy ideas, but I must say this....The kid understands me for some strange and unknown reason. He must be just as retarded as

me??? Dodge...all the work you have done making track after track for Piggz Racing has been superb. You never disappoint me bud and

that's the best praise I can give you.


Well, I know I have forgotten some people and I apologize....please don't be offended if I have. We have been racing this game a very

long time and I have made many, many friends along the way. Some still race the game while others like my old buddy Fzeri moved on to

help create IRacing. Piggz Racing has accomplished something that only a very few ever will do...reach 10 years. I think I managed to do

this because of 2 main reasons.....the 1st being I always tried to keep it fun here. The 2nd is no matter what, you cannot always make

everyone happy.....the trick is knowing how to be patient and do your best for the majority. I have always had the philosophy here at

Piggz to try to let anyone race here...at least give them a chance. Remember...we were all newbies at some point and a little help goes a

long way.


To all of my fellow Piggies, thank you for a fun filled 10 years and I hope it's been a blast. Cheers to what the future holds....God

Now, since I have done this, it most likely has screwed up the links to the tracks on the series info pages. PLEASE give me some time to get these repaired....I am not finished. In due time i will fix these all up. Its just going to take some time folks. I have some more tracks to upload to the site, so there is no sense for me to repair these b4 I finnish. This is all a process and I promise to get things fixed. Thanx for your patience everyone.
